A house is not a home without a dog

After getting the results, I filed away that knowledge for two years. In 2017, we were knee deep in infertility stuff that was becoming more and more daunting as the days passed. My heart was longing for a change, something I've never experienced, something I could look after and care for. I guess you can call it a fertility-life-crisis.
I've always been the one who follows my heart. In my gut, if something feels right, I take the leap. If you know me, you know how much I tend to overthink, overanalyze everything. However, when you know you just know. Those instincts have never failed me; they've always led me to the most wonderful destinations.
I have spent my entire life suffering from pretty severe allergy-induced asthma. Dogs being a huge trigger. So when I told people that we were getting a dog (something I've always wanted, since a kid), I'm pretty shocked no one committed me to the loony bin. They didn't, they humored me. Probably placed wagers on how long this was going to last. Happy to say, 2 years later...I'm here, surviving, and our dog is here, thriving.
The days have been so eventful with having him in this family. In no time, he became a critical member of our little world. Literally, never a dull moment. He has so much stinkin' energy. It's crazy. We're kinda wondering when it's all going to settle down a bit. But, then we quickly realize that one day, when he's older, we'll long for the days when he was full of spunk and life.
I wouldn't trade that puppy love for anything.
Dogs are put on this world for one thing. To love. They literally live to love.
He brings so much joy into our lives.

Door stain
Wall color
Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter...Best. Color. EVER. The perfect "greige" (gray-beige).

Used this paint. Cannot recommend enough! One coat application, even over the darkest of paint colors.
What we used to paint all the trim in our house. Took about 3 applications to cover the basic walnut brown with a solid white color.
Well, that's all for now!
